Identities and How they be FormedFrom this section of the trend I have learned aboutdifferent philosophies and suppositions about how identities are get uped. Thephilosophies that make the most sense to me are the ideas of John Locke, Jean-Jacues Rousseau, Charles Harton Cooley and George Herburt Mead. Also the ideasfocussed on in my exercise have as well helped me to form an idea whereidentities come from and what they mean neighborlyly.John Locke had the idea that citizenry in a society truly want to livetogether in harmony and that people are not aggressive by nature. That peopleare born with a blank slate and that anything can be learned. I completelyagree with this statement. How people are brought up and what they are exposedto defines their identity and intentions in society. I was brought up by winsomeparents that among others things taught me to be true to my feelings and toexpress them truthfully. Jean-Jacues Rousseaus theory about corruption relatesto the light sl ate idea. He stated that corruption come from society. So if single is not influenced positively they may end up corrupt and be a hindrance onsociety. If a child grows up in a dysfunctional family they may be at a disfavour to a child like my brother who is getting the same social educationfrom my parents and the society we live in.Charles Harton Cooley also touched on the idea of identities.
